Month of Purification

Ramadan has come
and will soon be gone
but time is right
for us to bring in sight
the talks and debates
of what we have achieved

A month of revelation
when with the guidance
of the book, light
for the humankind
we suppose to purify
to attain awareness
to develop our senses
so to feel shy
when committing crime
not just in law of the land
but in the divine

This is a month of inspiration
a time for purification
a period of seeking salvation
it means we shall develop
our senses to inspire
when in good we endure
more we shall want to do
doing more we feel happier

so now that the two third gone
with only several days left
we must thus review
carefully draw preview
that we have made good
of our time and strengths
spent our assets well
to please thy Lord
the almighty, God

If in evaluating
we find evidence
satisfying
that our deeds has been great
with sins depleted
and virtues inundated
we shall breath relief
be joyous, be look to celebrate

but if our review
draws a picture, bleak
than we are pressed hard
worst our luck
cursed our lives
for without forgiveness
of god and his mercy blessed
we are doomed to be failed
