sitting before the monitor
using my dull computer
I access the world
at once I find out
about things close and afar
so connected I feel
so linked my soul, it seems
yet the night falls
cloud covers
and the darkness appears
soon it takes over
the world in darkness covered
busyness stops, people disappears
the noises gets lesser
I begin to feel lonelier
I try to think
with every blink
I seek to cheer
with something dear
but, alas, all ends in failure
I just become more lonelier!
